The log peeler debarking tool is made up of a roller with cutting knives mounted on a shaft with two radial bearings. At the end of the shaft, a driven pulley is made, driven by a V-belt. The peeler has a groove for attaching to a chainsaw. The estimated gear ratio between the driving and driven pulleys is 2:3. The peeler can replace chainsaw chains.
